Honors Project Reflection
Well the reason I went with that chorus class project was because next to this class, it's somewhere else I can express myself and met some pretty cool people. I couldn't think of a better way than to make a big picture that had all or most of us in it. At first I wasn't sure because 21 people was a big number and having to draw each of them would be time consuming. In the end i decided to do it anyways, I thought it would be fun drawing them and getting to know them more in the process. The number one problem was organizing my time to complete those who submitted a photo and getting people to send me them. I was quite busy 1st quarter but I was able to make time to draw those I could by staying up late and after school. When I first announced to the class I was doing this, only one person bothered on that same day. When I complete her, she showed others and they later sent me one. 2 weeks befor the due date I went to those who haven't submitted them and talked to them. Those who didn't make it said they either didn't want to or felt like they shouldn't be put on it. I did the best to convince them but only one said yeah in the end. This gave me the general idea of how to manage my time more properly and how to encourage/talk to others too do something. That kind of stuff goes into anything but it's very important in Digital Media. Managing time gets you to be more organized and never be late or passed the due date for anything. Getting others to help is good to because if people work together, things will get accomplished quicker. What I could of done better was getting all those pictures so I wouldn't of raced against the time but other than that, the project was actually fun if I do say so myself. The last thing i learned was to make a real schedule of dates things should be due, I thought I could manage it all in my mind but that just made me stress out a bit in the end. The scary part was thinking i wasn't gonna be able to upload the 61GB file on here but thanks to my teacher, Mrs. Scoggins, i found an alternative way to upload it.
