GraffitiThe graffiti assignment has us experiment with the perspective tool in photoshop. We were given instructions to recreate an image and at the same time learn how it all worked. We played with fonts, opacity, shadow, and perspective of the following shapes.

Color MeThis got us working with the brush tool in photoshop. There was already a picture of the colored version and it wanted us to re-paint the picture that was in black and white using the brush.
|
LetteringThis project got us to learn about how to crop shapes out of actual pictures. We needed to use our full name and pick the first letter of each to use. We then had to find a picture for each and cut the letter out it. I have a long name so that's why mine was 4 letters.

Who I Am?Kind like the resume but without as much information, we had to use pictures explaining our interests but also type some of the info. This was how we learned how to move the pictures around and add text to our work for photoshop

BeetleThe picture above was an advertisement of a car. We got to pick from a few to advertise and convince people that it would be the best kind of car they could ever buy. I went for a music themed ad and that's how it ended up. The car had a white background so we had to cut it and the logo out before we even started.
SandwichThe sandwich was the first to teach us about the burn tool and mess around with the layering. We got jpeg images of the sandwich separately such as the lettuce, bread, coke, etc. we then cut them out using the magic wand and re-created the sandwich.

MagazineFor starters, we got to chose our topic for the magazine and I obviously went for video games. The magazine had two pages, the front cover and table of contents. The cover needed that code bar and it was up to you how the cover would look, couldn't look cramped or empty looking. The table of content was a page full of where to find info from the front cover in the magazine. You needed to make it look like it was a real magazine and that's what I found to be difficult.

ReflectionsThis was probably our second advertisement project we had to do. We needed to chose a product to promote and I chose skullcandy headphones. Whatever the product was had to of had a reflection from the ground, that pattern background, some kind of slogan, and the logo and name of product on the ad.
|
Night SkyIn my opinion, this was the most challenging assignment we did. We had some pictures and what we need to do with them was create a night time picture. We needed to reflect the sky and trees from the lake, have a moon, have a forest and other land in the distance, and add those clouds in the sky. We basically played with the copy and paste, plus some effects to create the clouds.

How to video |
|
|
We started using the adobe flash program and to start it off, we had to make the pictures change as you heard each beat of the music by adding a key frame to change the clip. The pictures were assigned for us already so that's what the project was about.
|
This project got us to work with others, that was the main idea of it. We had to put up some kind of how to video and we chose self-defense because one of our members knew a lot about. It also requested props to be used, screen title, transitions, and different camera positions.
